February 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of Venturing Crew 1298 (if my math is correct), [...]]]> I would like to take the time to thank everyone for their work and support this past year youth and adult.

We look towards the new year as a year of growing for crew 1298 and a new chapter in our book.

February 2010 marks the 10th anniversary of Venturing Crew 1298 (if my math is correct), 2010 also marks 100 years of BSA.  We have the Fort Worth Western Heritage Celebration set for January 16th, Highland Ball has been set for March 20th, please see the linked pages for more details on these events..  We also have the Feed the Troops comming soon in San Antonio, I do not have a date, but once I do will let everyone know. I am sure we will have more on the calendar but those are the ones that I know of at this time.

This coming year I would challenge every youth and adult to recruit 1 active youth member we need to grow our youth membership.

Please remember we meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month at Camp Wisdom, the meeting will happen at 1:00pm, however most times people will arrive early to blacksmith talk and just have a good time.

The next meeting will be January the 9th.

Please note that WFFA TV has become a sponsor & will be doing a special on Santa Fe Days, this means [...]]]> The Crew has a contract with the Santa Fe Days event organizers to feed the VIPs.
We are also going to set up the Blacksmith and Foundry shop. We can also set up a food vendor booth.
