Highland

Program Purpose: To Promote the Scottish/Highland Culture through history, tradition, genealogy, and participation in events that support & add to the program. The primary goal will be to learn about the highland culture; way of life, what affect it had and has had on the culture of the United States, and also to explore family genealogy. We encourage each of the youth and adults to secure a standard Venture Scout shirt or a Program shirt and gray pants/shorts or blue jeans. The official uniform is a Kilt of your Family Clan, McLaren Clan, Texas Bluebonnet District, or Black Watch. You may always approach a clan and ask to wear their tartan.
