Crew 1298 was formed in 1998 as a way for Youth and Adults to study and extend their knowledge of Blacksmithing. Originally wearing kilts to imitate the Scottish blacksmiths during the Boer Wars, the Crew has since expanded to include programs in: Frontier Soldiers , Chuck Wagon Cooking & Demonstrations Buffalo Soldiers Blacksmithing Native American Singing & Dance Foundry Highland Culture.
